The art of the Matador and the traditions of bullfighting are often referred to in terms of a graceful dance. In tribute to them, Spanish dancer Cesc Gelabert and partner Lydia Azzopardi have created this contemporary ballet named after the greatest matador of them all, Juan Belmonte, who excelled during the "Golden Age of Bullfighting" in the early twentieth century.
